Federici is recognized as a globally trusted name in the medical field. Considered one of the foremost experts in neuropsychological evaluations, Dr. Federici is typically called upon to administer second and third opinions for complex cases. Specializing in cases of domestically and internationally adopted children, Dr. Ronald Federici typically treats cases of attachment disorders, deprivation, neglect, and violent and/or unmanageable behaviors. In addition to his expert assessments, Dr. Ronald Federici provides comprehensive training, educational workshops, and even supervision in exceptional cases of developmental disorders and raising post-institutionalized children. Over the course of his professional career, Dr. Ronald Federici has served as a consultant for a variety of hospitals and media outlets. Dr. Federici's groundbreaking treatment for one child, documented on the NBC Dateline segment "Saving Dane, Saving a Family," reversed 11 years of stress and heartbreak for one family caused by the seemingly untreatable behavior disorder their adopted son suffered from. Dr. Federici has authored numerous articles on neuropsychological disorders and been published in many esteemed magazines and newspapers. Dr. Federici is the author of "Help for the Hopeless Child: A Guide for Families (With Special Discussion for Assessing and Treating the Post-Institutionalized Child)," which examines the problems of post-institutionalized children and details ways to help those children and their families overcome those obstacles and successfully move forward with their lives. Dr. Ronald Federici laid the foundation for his professional success with his distinguished academic career. Possessing two Masters' degrees and dual Doctorate degrees from the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois respectively, Dr. Federici now lends his own knowledge toward the students of tomorrow through his role as Assistant Professor of Child Development at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
